Application Software Developer

Overview
Compellent Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class network storage solutions, is seeking an Application Software Developer within its Management Control Software development team.

The developer will design, maintain, and enhance existing, current and future applications by using the latest Microsoft development technologies. This position’s primary responsibilities include product analysis, design, implementation, bug verification, and also supports System Test and Customer Copilot Service activities as needed. This position may additionally perform required research and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; an advanced degree is desirable.
• A minimum of two years experience in software development that include the following:
  • Design experience in OOD/OOP;
  • Programming languages C#, C++, and ASP.NET (Java experienced is desired);
  • SQL database;
  • Microsoft products SharePoint, IIS, SQL Server, Exchange;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment, focusing on product development lifecycles.
• An advanced degree is desirable.
