Marketing Programs Manager

Compellent Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class network storage solutions, is seeking a Marketing Programs Manager who will be responsible for generating a high volume of highly qualified leads and managing a team of direct reports to implement a wide array of marketing programs, including trade shows, live and regional events, webinars, online marketing, and other relevant activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective closed loop management of leads as they move end-to-end from lead acquisition into CRM through to the sales team for face to face selling. This will require an analytical orientation to manage lead generation, analysis and tracking; a business orientation to build and execute effective lead generation campaigns on time and within budget; and a project-management orientation to oversee all of the details required to deliver end to end results.

The candidate will also have oversight of the company’s marketing database in relation to the CRM system and marketing automation system, and the integrated lead flow between our web site and our marketing database.



Responsibilities


  • Performance metrics approach to planning, executing, tracking, and reporting on lead generation campaigns
  • CRM, database and marketing automation system experience
  • Previous experience managing and developing a team of direct reports
  • Strong understanding and affinity for working directly with sales
  • Strategic conception, development and execution of integrated marketing programs to drive lead generation and revenue from marketing programs
  • Maintain projects plans, timelines and budgets for all marketing activities
  • Marketing database development, segmentation and management
  • Prospect list selection, segmentation and management plus related opportunity qualification
  • Manage all corporate tradeshows, exhibits and special events to ensure maximum exposure and results
  • Evaluate new and existing shows by analyzing attendees, results and ROI
  • Manage outsourced vendors where required, including ad agencies, list houses, exhibit houses, etc.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
  • 5+ years experience in integrated marketing programs strategy and management
  • Proven self-starter in their ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced, high-growth and high-pressure environment
  • Expertise in CRM, demand generation and marketing automation technologies
  • Excellent project management skills from planning through successful completion, including attention to detail and the ability to set clear deadlines and meet them
  • Experience managing prospect and customer contact data, including segmentation and targeting
  • Excellent, proven writing and presentation development skills
  • Proven record of professional achievement with documented lead and demand generation results
