Channel Resolution Manager

Compellent Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class network storage solutions, is seeking a Channel Resolution Manager to manage the Compellent channel opportunities in a manner that is conducive to positive channel health and to project Compellent in a positive image to the marketplace. The objective of the position is to quickly and efficiently resolve channel opportunities to facilitate Compellent sales.

Responsibilities
- Manage Compellent channel opportunities
- This manager will work in a highy stressful environment
- Develop excellent internal relationships with the sales team
- Direct, teach, and mentor the channel teams about the registration process and how to avoid channel conflict before it starts
- Work and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Meticulous and detailed reporting/documentation is involved
- Resolving quantity of opportunities is important but not as critical as quality of opportunity resolution
- Primary internal relationships include sales team, as well as channel operations. Secondary internal relationships are inside sales and service operations
- External relationships included end-user prospects and customers, business partners world-wide, strategic and venture partners as well as the Compellent Partner Advisory Council
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with business focus is preferred
- 8+ years in high-tech business environment where successful customer problem solving is a critical determinant of success
- High-tech customer experience
- Reseller channel experience is a must
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiating skills and/or coursework
- Highly developed business acumen
- Excellent people skills
