Design, development and implementation for VMware vCenter integration with Compellent SAN.

Location: Eden Prairie, MN, 55344

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day change for Compellent’s two labs and the various departments utilizing them
• Maintain database on IP address assignments
• Maintain database on storage network zone and VSAN assignments
• Perform data network and storage network administration
• Manage the physical infrastructure (rack assignments, cable plant, and electrical usage, cooling systems)
• Manage and perform installation of new equipment including cable management, and data and storage network configurations
• Responsible for capital equipment management and asset tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required
• Design and configuration of IP networking and subnetting
• Design and configuration knowledge of Ethernet networking technologies such as VLANs
• Knowledge of Fibre Channel networking and technologies such as zones and VSANs
• ITIL knowledge or certification an advantage but not required
• Approximate travel is under 10%
• Regular lifting of items up to 30 lbs
• Infrequent lifting of items of 30 lbs. to 50 lbs
