Software Certification Engineer

The Engineer will be based in Compellent’s Worldwide Corporate office located in Eden Prairie, MN.

Responsibilities
The Certification Engineer will work to qualify and tune sophisticated Compellent Storage Center functions. Additionally, they will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of methods to test and troubleshoot the Compellent Storage Center OS. Working with platform and user interface development teams, they will assist in the definition of testing requirements upon product specifications.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years software development experience
• Strong Java programming skills required
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and to execute with minimal supervision
• Should have strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Storage background including knowledge of SANs and storage management concepts desired
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
