Compellent to Host Record Number of Channel Partners and Customers at its Annual Conference, C-Drive

- Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CML) announced registration is up 30 percent over the same time last year for its annual channel partner and customer conference, C-Drive 2009, with attendees traveling from as far away as China and Australia.
- Sessions at the Partner Summit and Customer Conference will explore the future of storage technology and provide training, hands-on demos, best practices and opportunities for customers to become certified on the latest technology from Compellent. A sample of the panels being held this year include:
- VMware Site Recovery Manager and Compellent
- Effectively Managing Hyper-V Clusters and a Compellent SAN
- NAS Windows Storage Server: Enterprise Features at the File Level
- The Partner Summit will include a Channel Partner Roundtable focused on strategies for selling storage in today’s economy.
- During the Customer Conference, Compellent will host a CIO Roundtable where business technology leaders will share their thoughts on real-world issues confronting them daily, including how IT and storage can continue to deliver business value.
- An Industry Partner Roundtable will feature representatives from Cisco, Intel and Microsoft discussing strategies for automating the data center.
- Attendees will get a preview of the following upcoming technologies from Compellent:
- Enterprise solid state drives (SSDs) – demos with Compellent’s suite of virtualized storage applications, including automated tiered storage.
- Advanced replication technology – demos will introduce new features such as Live Volume and Portable Volume, which further automate and simplify disaster recovery solutions.
