Amsterdam, 18 May, 2010 – Compellent has appointed Vincent van der Linden as business development manager for the Benelux region. He will report to Steven Dahlin, Compellent director of EMEA sales based in Amsterdam.

Van der Linden’s primary role is to provide sales support to Compellent’s growing number of channel partners selling the company’s Fluid Data storage solution in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. He brings to Compellent more than 10 years experience selling and deploying enterprise IT infrastructure solutions.

Prior to joining Compellent he held the position of solution sales manager at InterAccess, a leading provider of IT services in the Netherlands and one of Compellent’s first channel partners in the region. Before InterAccess, van der Linden worked as a presales consultant at Imtech ICT Brocom. He began his career in IT as a data management specialist at newspaper De Telegraaf.
