Compellent customer gm2 Logistics, a warehousing and logistics company located near London, has won the “Green Organisation of the Year” award from the British Computer Society. gm2 Logistics reduced its data centre footprint and associated energy consumption by more than 30 per cent following the deployment of an energy-efficient storage area network (SAN) from Compellent and server virtualisation technology from VMware.
