Compellent At Your Core

by Scott Horst, Director of Marketing, Compellent Technologies — October 16, 2009

At Compellent we pride ourselves on listening to your feedback and taking action on it. We try to incorporate as many customer and partner suggestions as possible. It was your feedback from last year’s C-Drive that led us to this year’s theme – “Compellent At Your Core”. The more suggestions you made, the more we realized you wanted C-Drive to be completely about Compellent – all Compellent, all the time. We thought that talking about ourselves all the time wouldn’t be polite. You know we are “Minnesota nice.” You helped us understand that we need to make Compellent front and center in every session. So we did, and that’s the story behind the theme.

Storage serves as the foundation for every data center, and Compellent is an open, agile, virtual platform that can act as the core for any enterprise – whether it is a customer using our system or a channel partner selling it. Customers love that it can be the core of their on-demand data center – driving efficiency, simplicity and availability to new levels. Partners love that it can be the core of their IT offering – driving revenue, profits and trust for their business. Technology Partners love that Compellent is open, innovative and can be at the core of a total technology solution.

Compellent can serve as the core of a new IT ecosystem and is built for the virtual world. C-Drive 2010 is here to connect everyone to Compellent and to each other, to enable all of us to get to the core, to go deeper, to gain a new depth of understanding on our technology, our team, and how we all get better together.

With that in mind, we’re excited to open up registration and work even harder to make this event the place to be.
