HighJump selected Compellent to provide a more flexible and cost effective storage platform to maintain its low cost of ownership.
Situation
HighJump's infrastructure prior to Compellent consisted of individual servers with internal disk drives. When the development team needed additional storage capacity, they had to rebuild entire systems. Upon deploying new releases, the IT staff spent long hours to reclaim space for new test environments. Backup windows extended to late nights and weekends to ensure system availability.
