SRM Storage Replication Adapter

Compellent Remote Instant Replay replicates data between sites using space-efficient snapshots over IP networks for rapid, cost-effective disaster recovery. Compellent storage communicates directly with SRM via a Storage Replication Adapter (SRA), providing automated failover and failback of virtual machines, reducing manual steps and ensures reliable recovery in the event of a disaster. Dell Compellent support for SRM decreases recovery time objectives (RTOs) and ensures consistent and reliable recovery point objectives (RPOs). It also enables customers to create and non-disruptively test recovery plans in VMware environments. This release extends Compellent’s strength in the enterprise by deepening its capabilities in virtual environments.
